Peter has over 30 years senior retail management experience with well-known national brands including Sainsbury’s, Ladbrooks, Argos, Homebase and the Gus group. He has successfully led teams at the strategic (running regions of 30+ stores), operational (particular large stores) and departmental (HQ group functions such as delivery of sales budgets, delivery of profit and loss accounts and HR) level. He has been the long-time Chair of the Snettisham Memorial Hall Charity responsible for the good running of the Hall, Pavilion and playing field, liaising with all the clubs and groups using the facilities, putting on popular village events and ensuring all the requirements of the UK Charity Commission, Health and Safety requirements and other relevant legislation are met.
