Edward Stanton

Edward is a much-respected, locally born, landowner, who entered the family’s farming business after Agricultural College. In 1978, the family moved to Perthshire where he developed a successful Deer Farm. Edward returned to Snettisham in 1986, bringing with him 110 Red Deer. Word rapidly spread with many wanting to see the animals up close and his first ‘deer safari’ was born. 35 years on, ‘Park Farm’ (and it’s deer) is one of West Norfolk’s most visited tourist attractions, although he still continues to farm sheep, wheat, barley and sugar beat. Edward takes great pride in supporting village life and local good causes, he is Snettisham Cricket Club’s President, a Trustee of ‘The Halls Foundation’ (a charity supporting local young people) and a member of St Mary’s church committee.
